Coach Jimmy

 

Coach Jimmy brings a vast knowledge of soccer to Commack Soccer League. He has experience playing semi-pro, professional, and international soccer. Coach Jimmy was apart of the original Long Island Roughriders team from 1993-1995, winning a U.S. National Championship during the 1994/1995 season. Jimmy was the first American to play professionally in Venezuala Division 1. In addition, he played in the Shell Cup and World Cup Qualifiers for Puerto Rico. He was the first player from Puerto Rico to play for Caribbean All Stars in an England charity event.

In addition to his impressive playing career, Coach Jimmy has an extensive coaching background. He has coached middle and high school teams, as well as college teams such as LIU Post Women’s, Briarcliffe College Women’s, and SUNY Old Westbury Men’s. Coach Jimmy was the Director of Coaching (DOC) for Garden City Centennial Intramural and Brentwood Soccer Club. He has trained travel teams all across Long Island, and we are excited to have him apart of our program.

Coach Jimmy currently trains multiple high level travel teams for Commack Soccer League, as well as running many of our camps and clinics.
