Courtney Boothe

Accredited by United Soccer Coaches, Boothe holds various diplomas including Premier, Advance National, Goalkeeping Level 2, and Director of Coaching. Boothe got his start in collegiate coaching at Division III Polytechnic University (known today as NYU Poly), where he served as head men’s soccer coach from 2003-06.
A native of Jamaica, Boothe moved to the states in 1993. He enrolled at Coffeyville Community College, where he started his playing career as a member of the Red Ravens’ men’s soccer team (1994-95). Boothe then transferred to St. Francis College to compete as a Division I student-athlete for two seasons (1996-97) before receiving his bachelor's degree in management in 1998. Ranked as high as 21st in the nation, Boothe helped lead the Terriers to a NEC Championship in 1997. Boothe then earned his master’s degree in 2003 from NYU Poly in technology management.
Since 2008, Boothe has coached youth soccer on Long Island, developing players for SUSA Soccer Academy (2008-12) and Long Island Professional Soccer (2012-20) as Girls DOC. Boothe also was the camp director/trainer for the Long Island Rough Riders (2019-20).
Prior to building his coaching career, Boothe worked in Information Technology for 15 years as Assistant Vice President of Voice Services for BNY Mellon. Residing in Farmingville, New York, Boothe and his wife, Suzette, are proud parents to sons Daniel, Christopher and Joshua.
